Anri Sala proposes a complex sound and video installation wrapping ephemerally, yet with great precision, around the Middle Hall of the Haus der Kunst. Taking Arnold Schoenberg's string sextet Verklärte Nacht (Op. 4) (Transfigured Night) as his point of departure, Sala has developed a choreography of sounds that step by step lays bare the composition's underlying structure and carries visitors along on a journey through space and time.
