Continuing a practice of printing on fabrics, David Douard produces for Galerie Chantal Crousel a series of silkscreens on paper where fifteen compositions - each on a limited and signed edition - reconfigure between them patterns made of lines, images, forms and phrases. These elements seem to constitute a folder in which David Douard picks up in order to explore their formal potentials and creating variations on a same visual rhythm.
The conception of these silkscreens echoes the artist's personal exhibition, O’Ti’Lulaby, on view at the Plateau, frac île-de-france beginning September 26, 2020.
Part of the series, this pattern has been printed in one unique copy.
Dimensions: 100 x 70 cm.
