Kunstmuseum Basel presents the latest work by artist Anri Sala in the Hauptbau in the midst of the Old Masters.
There are six frescoes on view, created in 2023 and acquired by the Emanuel Hoffmann Foundation, whose collection has been entrusted to the Kunstmuseum Basel since 1941.
In them Sala revives the historical craft of al fresco painting, in relation to thoughts about temporality and narrative, themes that are crucial to his oeuvre.
