Haegue Yang participates in the group exhibition Moved by Schlemmer, which recounts the 100 years of the triadic ballet, this extraordinary gesamtkunstwerk which brings together visual art, dance and costume design.

The exhibition integrates the historical figurines in a presentation of large-scale installations by Ulla von Brandenburg, Kalin Lindena and Haegue Yang, and brings an extraordinary moment of Stuttgart’s history onto the stage of the present.

On the first Sunday of every month, the sculptures of Haegue Yang's installation are set in motion three times a day. Accompanied by the musical piece Images (1968) by Isang Yun, a quartet for flute, oboe, violin and cello, the activation illustrates the performative aspects of Handles.
