For the first time, Melik Ohanian presents the monoscreen version of Act XIV of the film BORDERLAND (2017-2024), with a performance, at TANDEM Scène Nationale.
BORDERLAND is a migrant work that unfolds in fourteen acts and different forms since 2017. It thus survives its own condition of being a work.
In Act XIII, seven characters dressed entirely in black, like shadows, move and wander around the stage. These identity-less bodies are accompanied by a soundtrack of improvised music and readings from a text by Dominique Quessada. They gradually participate in the installation of the screen for the first projection of the monoscreen version of Act XIV of BORDERLAND.
