La Cinématheque française presents a retrospective dedicated to Wang Bing's films, on the occasion of his personal exhibition at Le BAL (Paris). The program can be discovered here.

In twenty films made over as many years, Wang Bing, a leading figure in contemporary Chinese cinema, has created a monumental body of work with extraordinary humility and determination. For him, filming responds to a form of urgency, to the need to question his era, his country.

The book, co-edited for the exhibition at LE BAL by Delpire & co, Roma Publications and LE BAL, is supported by the CNAP and the Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris.
