Roberto Cuoghi, recipient of the XXVII edition of the Pino Pascali Prize, presents a new solo exhibition at Fondazione Pino Pascali. It brings together his research and the themes that have defined his work over the past decade, through a selection of works being shown in Italy for the first time.

These include SS(XCVP)c, a 2019 wall sculpture that represents the culmination of the Putiferio series; the work A(XLVIIPs)t, a tapestry with embroidered interventions from 2021; and the large watercolor P(LXXIVPs)ac from 2022. The exhibition will also offer a significant selection of the artist's paintings.

The exhibition also features the work Ether en Flocons, which represents Cuoghi's first approach to sculptural production using agar-agar, a method pioneered only in this work and in the Imitation of Christ series exhibited at the 2017 Venice Biennale.

As usual, Ex Chiesetta (formerly the Galleria Pino Pascali), an old small church located in the historic center of Polignano a Mare, is also part of the exhibition. For the occasion, Roberto Cuoghi and Fondazione Pascali have invited five young local artists to occupy the space with their works.
