Reverse | Tarek Atoui in conversation with Andrea Lissoni
Fabrica Auditorium, Catena di Villorba, Italy
July 19, 2017 at 6.30 pm
Fabrica is very happy to host a very special event, featuring the Lebanese sound artist Tarek Atoui and Andrea Lissoni, Senior Curator, International Art (Film) at Tate Modern. Title of the conversation/performance: Reverse
Andrea Lissoni likes to explore liveness, cinematic aspects in time-based artworks and the perception of time in space. He tries to reach these topics through transdisciplinary approaches to exhibition-making. No better partner in crime than Tarek Atoui, whose experimental and performance approaches to make compositions out of the combination of computer generated electro-acoustic sounds, as well as man-made and historical instruments are groundbreaking.
At Fabrica they will discuss, improvise, perform, reverse.
This event is part of the Out of Step project, a series of conversations and workshops with renowned names of that broad cultural world that encompasses art, design, cinema and underground culture, hosted at Fabrica, curated by Nico Vascellari, former Fabricante and today one of the most important artists of the international scene.
