The exhibition catalogue of Gabriel Orozco: Politécnico Nacional aims to provide an exploration of Orozco’s practice, highlighting key pieces in the media of photographs, drawings, sculptures, paintings, as well as the design of gardens and bridges. The publication contains an essay by Briony Fer, curator of the exhibition, and a conversation between art historian Benjamin Buchloh, Gabriel Orozco and Fer, accompanied by images of the artist’s iconic works.

This publication explores the multiplicity of his practice from the 1990s to the present. As diverse as his work may seem, all of it is determined by a set of deep-rooted interests and proposals that are manifested throughout the exhibition.
