Silence marks Lucie Antunes’s return following Carnaval (2023). The album grew out of a desire to create emptiness and, through dance and collective creation, to find a new artistic momentum.
Conceived from a booklet by the poet Laura Vazquez and co-produced with Canblaster, Silence sits at the crossroads of record, performance and immersive experience, linked to a creation developed with choreographer Mathilde Monnier.
Through an organic, hypnotic sound palette—transformed voices, percussion, vibraphones and synthesizers—the album explores altered states of consciousness and offers a sensory journey between shadow and light. It is made with contributions from artists including Clara Ysé, Halo Maud, Louisahhh, Wolfgang Tillmans and Rebecca Chaillon.
Silence is a crossing, a passage between bodies, voices and worlds, where music becomes a space to feel, disappear and be reborn.
