Danh Vo's site-specific sculpture installation for the monumental, emblematic space of the main hall of the CAPC ("La Nef") is divided into four sections. Together they reflect a working method based on associations between elements from the many collections that the artist builds up over time relating to each of his projects. Not only do they highlight connections between personal and collective histories, they also embody an investigation of the relationship between the artworks and the architecture and memory of the building that is home to the Bordeaux museum of contemporary art: the historic Entrepôt Lainé.
