On the occasion of Wang Bing's solo exhibition at the BAL, historians, critics and filmmakers are invited to explore Wang Bing's work. During this symposium, they will focus on the artist's relationship to independent Chinese cinema, to modernity, and to his homeland. They will also study some of the artist's films and installations more closely.
