Thomas Hirschhorn transforms the new premises of the ifk, following the principle that one must always resort to praxis to arrive at the theory. From an existing space, he creates a new one in which traces of social life are drawn and accumulated almost endlessly. The three levels of the site are labeled, used, distorted and discussed with students, scientists and visitors.
