Oscar Tuazon is participating to the 34th Bienal de São Paulo with a site-specific installation, Growth Rings, presented outside the Bienal Pavilion. His sculptures, composed by four wooden rings, are exhibited at different points in Ibirapuera Park. Each rings' diameter, between 4 and 5 meters, was defined by the artist based on the distance between the trees chosen to support the sculptures. Growth Rings recognizes our interconnectivity with trees, celebrates the cycles of life, and seeks to foster harmony in our contemporary urban landscape.
