Le Centre culturel suisse, Lafayette Anticipations, Instants Chavirés and Le Petit Bain welcome the first Parisian edition of the experimental music festival OTO NOVE SWISS.
At the CCS, the Genevan Julie Semoroz performs with the Parisian Tomoko Sauvage. Tomoko Sauvage is the inventor of the “waterbowls”, which combine water, ceramics and underwater microphones and generate a fluid and sculptural timbre. Julie Semoroz creates sound pieces using field recordings, live mics and her own voice, like excursions into the shadows of the unconscious.
The work In Curved Water (2010) by Tomoko Sauvage is part of the group exhibition Scènes dans une bulle de cristal — Seen in a crystal ball at Galerie Chantal Crousel, on view until February 29, 2020.
