Roberto Cuoghi's themes, as well as his choice of media, are unusually multifaceted. Whether sculpture or video, in brush or pencil, his works acquire a power of expression through a multi-layered yet organic interplay of diverse materials and elements. This catalogue gathers for the first time into a single volume a collection of works - from the earliest to the most recent - produced by Roberto Cuoghi, thus providing an overview of the entire spectrum of his rich and complex body of work which evades obvious categorization of genres.
