David Douard wins the Fondazione Ettore Fico Prize given to a young artist taking part in Artissima.
The jury for the 2017 Fondazione Ettore Fico Prize has announced David Douard, presented by Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris, as the winner of the contemporary art award given to a young artist taking part in Artissima. For the 9th consecutive year, Artissima continues its collaboration with Fondazione Ettore Fico to present an award that encourages emerging artists with a particular focus on the use of new expressive media through innovative research and creativity. The prize is reinforced with the purchase by Fondazione Ettore Fico of one work from the winning artist’s gallery of reference, which will be included in the collection of MEF – Museo Ettore Fico.
