For the first time, the entire museum and surrounding park of the Fondation Beyeler will host an experimental presentation of contemporary art, with contributions from artists including Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Wade Guyton, Pierre Huyghe and Rirkrit Tiravanija. Dance with Daemons is conceived as a “living organism” that changes and transforms throughout its duration.

Links and intersections between different works will be developed through an intense dialogue with the artists and with works from the collection, including Wolfgang Tillmans. While many of the paintings, sculptures, films, installations and performances are created
in situ, others take the form of adapted versions of existing works.

With Michael Armitage, Anne Boyer, Federico Campagna, Ian Cheng, Chuquimamani-Condori et Joshua Chuquimia Crampton, Marlene Dumas, Frida Escobedo, Peter Fischli, Cyprien Gaillard avec Victor Man, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Wade Guyton, Carsten Höller avec Adam Haar, Pierre Huyghe, Arthur Jafa, Koo Jeong A, Dozie Kanu, Cildo Meireles, Jota Mombaça, Fujiko Nakaya, Alice Notley, Precious Okoyomon, Philippe Parreno, Rachel Rose, Tino Sehgal, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Adrián Villar Rojas.

The exhibition is organised by Fondation Beyeler in partnership with LUMA Foundation.
