Jennifer Allora & Guillermo Calzadilla are participating in the group exhibition We Are History, which offers a different perspective on humanity's impact on the planet by tracing the complex interrelations between todays climate crisis and legacies of colonialism. As part of a larger series, the artist duo catalogued sites in Vieques, Puerto Rico in which palm trees were planted by the US Military to demarcate dumping areas for munitions and other industrial waste made during their 60-year occupation of the island. Contract (AOC L) reproduces images of these sites using a screen-printing method.
