This publication documents the ongoing collaboration between Abraham Cruzvillegas and Dr. Lakra along eighteen years. Los dos amigos is an excellent introduction, so much for the works and the creative process, to the work of these two Mexican artists. The book is also a testimony of the dialogue and the parallel exchange within the pieces shown in Los dos amigos, the exhibition held at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca (MACO) during May of 2005. The book contains raw materials taken directly from magazines, newspapers, albums, instant pictures, posters, catalogs, fanzines, flyers, photocopies, found objects, ads, stickers, commercial packaging, correspondence, the personal diaries and work notebooks belonging to Cruzvillegas and Lakra.
