Responding to Lulu’s carte blanche invitation to occupy LA MAISON DE RENDEZ-VOUS however he wishes, Abraham Cruzvillegas has elected to focus on the deconstructive aspect of his work in the form of a song. In order to do so, the artist invited his galleries to send a short, subjective description of his work to him, from which he elaborated the lyrics of a song. Accompanied by friends Alberto Cabrera and Gabriel Kuri, both playing drums, Cruzvillegas will sing the song, once, at the opening of the exhibition. The space will also be outfitted by a series of collages made from the lyrics of the song, not to mention the aftermath of the performance.
