For its re-opening, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens presents a display of permanent interventions created in response to the museum’s architecture. The sculpture garden offers highlights of the museum’s rich history —and future— with work untitled 2018 (the infinite dimensions of smallness) by Rirkrit Tiravanija (2018/2021). Tiravanija’s participatory work includes an active tea house where visitors can enjoy a free tea-tasting experience.
The first Tea gathering on opening’s day, 5 September, will be performed by Mai Ueda herself. Reservations are possible here.
