Fondazione Converso presents a six-part flag series by New York-based artist Rirkrit Tiravanija (b. Buenos Aires, 1961) on the front-facing facade of the Church of San Paolo Converso. These text and image-based works will change over every two months throughout 2020. This public initiative contextualizes the artist’s recurring appropriation strategies and underlines the specificity of current cultural and socio-political context in regards to global History.
