La Lutherie is Atoui's temporary lab and a participatory production platform. Located in the Orangerie, La Lutherie serves as a space for discussing, imagining, and building instruments of all sorts and with different kinds of publics.
On this platform, Atoui hosted composer Heiner Goebbels, artists Cevdet Erek, Hassan Khan and Franck Lebovici and curators Ute Meta Bauer, Lars Bang Larsen and Gregory Castera to discuss and illustrated the notion of instrument through various examples of their works and experiences.
These presentations got also recorded, reedited and broadcasted within La Lutherie radio series - a program on instruments that Atoui held at the Hessischer Rundfunk radio between June and September 2012.
