Galerie Chantal Crousel is pleased to participate in Art Basel OVR: Miami Beach with a curated online show Domus. Echoing the idea of a Roman house, conceived as a small universe in itself, this exhibition will focus on the subjects of interiority, intimacy and domestic environment which translate our secret feelings, hidden thoughts and convictions.
Domus is a playful invitation to enter the notion of privacy; a walk through the succession of rooms with the artworks referring to the ancestry and heredity (Jean-Luc Moulène, Gabriel Orozco, Haegue Yang, Heimo Zobernig), politics interfering with surrounding objects (Mona Hatoum, Rirkrit Tiravanija), the poetry of daily routine (David Douard, Wolfgang Tillmans), the on-screen desire (Wade Guyton) and the contemplation of the inner force (Thomas Hirschhorn).
