Jean-Luc Moulène participates in the group exhibition Material Shifts at Astrup Fearnley Museet, which looks at sculpture as an act of translation. The works on view span conceptually driven pieces, material explorations, space-activating installations, and repurposed objects, mapping a field made vital through translation.

Jean-Luc Moulène’s objects draw on fields from physics, mathematics, economics, language, industrial processes, and the body, transforming ideas and abstract systems into tangible forms while preserving each material’s specific properties. Glass, bronze, stone, or digitally generated forms are therefore not neutral carriers but active participants in the process of translation.
