From the complex emotional range of A Musical Piece Based on Distant Memoryto the brutal, tireless, yet constantly morphing beat of SUPERSTRUCTURE, this set brings together live improvisation and pre-composed elements. Khan mines his personal archive of studio sessions helmed with various musicians to build a new musical structure that takes us from a precise, intimate and fragile moment to a semi-mythical collective landscape.
